Frenchy Bits

A little touch of France evolved yesterday when we brought in some lovely gilded chairs and a most stunning cream painted display cabinet.

These milk paint finish cabinets are ideal for a bedside or to add some contrast to a room.

This gorgeous chair has been refinished in a completely hand-sewn patchwork denim,something different!!

Lovely trays, even nice hanging on the wall , or propped somewhere on display.

Very heavy weight stone pheasants, these can be used outdoors, but quite a stunning indoor statement.

Coming and Going

Quite a lot of furniture has been sold and moved out and quickly replaced with some interesting new pieces. The gorgeous dresser in the first photo is c1880, it's not perfect after all those years of use,but very unusual and would fit into a new or old house quite well.
