It's difficult to see the finer details on this exquisite cherub dish from a photo, but it is probably the most elaborate one I have seen. I am guessing it to be from about C1900 - C1910,and I am planning to do some more research on the stamps to find out more history. I have not attempted to clean it yet, as I can't decide whether to leave it with its natural patina intact, or expose the fine engraving and delicate work with some silver cleaner. The cherub is inscribing some lettering, and many arrows from his bow adorn the outer edges, its just lovely. The teapot has come from the same family home and is most probably a similar age.
