Hot Summer Days

The weather could not be any more Summery, some people seem to love it,others ( like us) are almost melting. For those who enjoy relaxing outside this very practical wrought iron lounge is on wheels for easy manoeuvering around the garden chasing the shade(or sun!) The other wrought iron piece is a very decorative bench with added detail at the top, perfect against a wall or tucked into a garden corner.

Merry Christmas

We would like to wish everybody a truly merry Christmas, and thankyou all sincerely for visiting and supporting us throughout the year. We have seen some changes happen at Rose Harvest this year, and there are more planned for 2010. May the coming year be a great one for you all, Sue,Linda and Jodie.

More new arrivals

Even though Xmas is nearly here, new stock continues to arrive just in time for the last minute shoppers. Shades of green have made a re-appearance as a popular colour again and most of our new items will suit people who have always liked green or those who have a new appreciation for it.The metal chairs have been made and painted in a very typical 1930's style and shade of green ,and look like originals from the era, but amazingly the finish has been created by clever craftspeople only recently.

Xmas Goodies

We are having some internet difficulties ,hence the lack of posts over the last few days. This very large tray would be perfect for using on Xmas day, and then a great display piece afterwards. It has a very rustic charm about it, but still very suitable for any decor.

New Arrivals

This gorgeous collage has been made from an old piece of sheet music, a Victorian postcard and pressed flowers arranged in an antique frame. A beautiful way to preserve a little bit of history. The Mother Of Pearl butterflies are brooches and hairclips, very cleverly created and stunning to wear. Also pictured is another of the inlaid bone chest of drawers, this time in black. The circular frame is also made from Mother of Pearl, very unusual.

Iced green

I love the colour of this 1940's very useful cupboard. There is lovely oak timber underneath the paint, but I think whoever painted this piece had good taste !
