Interesting Things!

Some very interesting things have arrived at Rose Harvest this week, antique spools and bobbins, which have a fascinating history. Once used in factories and fashion houses,each one has it's own story. We also have a selection of antique printers blocks,these are so quirky and decorative, especially if you can find your own initials amongst this little collection.

Hearts and baubles

My favourite new arrival for the week, these gorgeous hearts and baubles in three different sizes. They come in mercury silver or mercury pale copper,hang them separately or in clusters, they are simply beautiful .

Blossomtime

I am taking advantage of the early blossoms on our trees at home,and picking them for urns,pots and vases everywhere. This is probably not a good idea for fruiting trees, but these ones are just prunus blossoms, so no fruit is sacrificed :)

Duck Families

These very cute ducks are in family groups or can be purchased singularly, all at 42 Langtree Ave Store.

Classics

Some old classics,french antique bread board,old country butter churn and bell domes setting a provincial theme.

The "Tree of Life" is popular lately, appearing as wall decorations , candle and jewellery holders,charms etc.

These Silver candle holders have removable lids to store the candle and keep it fresh when not in use, very decorative, they are in three different designs.

I just love violets, and am so happy to see them making an appearance all around the garden this Winter.

These mossy pots are pre-aged, giving them a great antiquey look !

This old church pew is ten foot long, it looks great as it is, or could be oiled if a more finished look is preferred.
