These are some pieces that have just arrived,mostly following a Victorian theme today. The sampler is an original,beautifully framed and signed. The magnificent embroidered red and black screen looks really lovely with this very early painted chair,and the staffordshire dogs are much cuter and smaller than the others we normally have in. The main photo depicts beautiful examples of early beading,the bag is an early 1920's very elegant and in pristine condition. The collar is also in mint condition,every bead has been sewn on by hand and could still be worn.The hat pin is early 1900s and quite large, most likely it held in place a big big hat ! There are several little "bill" clips, mostly used now for holding postcards or old photos,and the gorgeous old rose painting has been done on tin, as was common in those times.
