I have been out in the rain today taking photos of the raindrops on everything,as it may not happen again for a long time !! I thought I would keep a record of how everything is looking now so that when in a months time everything is hot and dusty we can look back and feel refreshed:) We have Pierre de Ronsard about to burst into full bloom, and Seduction has already been flowering for a week or more. They look beautiful blending into the lavender bushes, which have grown to over six feet tall in some places.I have not given them any special care,so they must just be very content in the position they were planted. The gorgeous rusted maiden holding the water bowl stands at five feet tall and looks so at home amongst the blooms, and there are many little birdhouses nestled amongst the foliage everywhere. I have also photographed some new little outdoor hanging birds and these cute novelty crown pot holders . Rainy days are so inspiring, I am off to do some more pottering now that I am already muddy and the hair can't get any more frizzy and wild.
