The humble geranium has shone again as a trusty and dependable plant in times of little water, unskilled gardeners or lean budgets. It always manages to produce a showy and colourful bloom no matter how poorly treated, and will grow from a mere cutting in the poorest of soils.Red being a very popular colour this year has brought about a whole new appreciation for this lovely and aromatic species. I have always been a fan of them and have brought a few into the shop for some Summer colour.
